Self-care by the leader is like bringing a taxi for servicing: at that time, it is spending money instead of making it. However, it is necessary to do so if it is to serve better. Leaders have not only the right but also the duty to care for themselves in order to better care for members.
Omitting self-care is like running a taxi without servicing it: it will burn the engine, break, or even harm its beneficiaries. It may lead to Stress, Burnout, Discouragement, disappointment… Leaders who experience these end up bitter, discouraged during and after their mandate.
Self-caring leaders increase the possibility of blooming and blossoming enough during their mandate that they can remain fruitful through their mandate (not just surviving it). They will be well enough to be able to take care of their members. They will have good life and zeal to continue being vigorous missionaries even after their mandate.

La prise de soins de soi par le leader est comme amener un taxi a la visite technique: on dépense sur le taxi plutôt que de gagner. Mais la visite est nécessaire pour le taxi de continuer de servir, sinon lui-même il va se casser, ou même bruler. En brulant, il risque de bruler aussi ses passagers. Le leader n’a pas seulement le droit mais aussi le devoir de prendre soin de lui-même, en vue de mieux prendre soin des membres de son organisation. Le manque de soin de soi au leader peut amener au stress, au burnout (épuisement grave), découragement, déception… Le leader qui vit ces situations peut être amer et déçu Durant et après son mandat. Le leader qui prend bon soin de lui-même augmente la possibilité de s’épanouir par l’exercice de son mandat, d’être fructueux (non seulement de survivre). Il sera assez-bien pour s’occuper des autres qu’il dirige. Il aura assez de zèle pour continuer à être un missionnaire vigoureux même après son mandat.
